10 Phrases for Leaders

Written by  //  May 26, 2011  //  Leadership  //  No comments

Some words are easier to say than others.  For example the word “mouseketools” isn’t really an easy word for kids to say but can be found on Micky Mouse Club House everyday but for most of them they know how to say “Mickey”.  Mickey though when trying to solve problems always seems to call out for the mouseketools to help.

My point?  Here is a list of words/phrases that Leaders, which is an easy word to say, should being saying on a regular basis when they find themselves in trouble.  These are your mousketools.

  1. Do you have time for us to sit down and let me ask you some questions about your role in this company?
  2. Believe it or not but I’m not an expert in every field.
  3. Sorry.
  4. I was wrong.
  5. I’m not always right.
  6. How can I help you achieve your dream?
  7. Tell me more about your family.
  8. I didn’t realize you could do that.
  9. I appreciate you.
  10. Thank YOU!

If you can master these words/phrases then you too can end each episode with a nice little dance and be surrounded by a great group of friends.
