Are you called to Ministry? If so, let me know.

The number one question I get asked this time of year is, “Do you know someone who would be a good fit for our staff?” With no exaggeration, I’m asked this question at least twice a week. Of course for the most part I say let me think about it and refer them to someone I know or who I think might be looking. Here’s the problem, I don’t really know if they would be or not. I’m not sure if that person would even be interested. I also don’t have the time to follow up and do the questionnaires or the work that needs to be done to see this through. The other part to this is that the church/business in most cases doesn’t have the time to do it either.

I know of 6-8 churches right now that are looking for incredible leaders in preschool ministry, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and family ministry. This is both exciting to me and it a problem that I wish I had all the time to solve. This is why I believe in hiring someone to help in this process. I’ve found my partner to do this and I truly believe they are the best, not because they are the oldest company doing this for churches, but because they do the best job. Who is it? It is David Lyons and http://MinisterSearch.com

So here are my questions for an individual,

  1. Are you a leader called to ministry?
  2. Are you ready for a next step or a change in scenery?
  3. Are you ready to leave well from where you currently are? Read this post before you say yes.
  4. Are you willing to go through coaching at your next church?

If you answered yes to all 4 questions I want to know who you are. Don’t leave a comment on this blog but instead fill out the contact me form and let me know who you are.

Here are my questions for the Church looking to hire?

  1. Are you tired of asking, “Who do you know?”
  2. Are you tired of receiving 150 resumes and not getting one that you like?
  3. Do you wish you had someone to find out who you are as a culture and help you find someone that fits long term (more than the standard 18 months)?
  4. Do you wish someone would look out for your best interest and your community’s best interest?

If you answered Yes to all 4 then please fill out the Contact Me form as well. Thanks.
