It’s my birthday! A list of 32 blessings.

This day 32 years ago I was born.  You know nobody says 32 is a big year to celebrate but it does mean I’ve been driving for as long as I haven’t been and I think that is a big deal.  OK not really but I do feel these last 32 years have been a blast and I hope to make it many, many more.

On this day I’ve been reflecting a lot about all of the things I’ve been able to do and have been blessed with.  Here is just a small list of 32 things that I consider pretty incredible:

.        I’ve been married for almost 11 years (Aug. 21^st is our anniversary)

.        I have 2 incredible healthy boys

.        I have parents, family and in-laws that support us no matter what

.        I’ve been to 12 different countries around the world

.        I have an unbelievable amount of friends who respect me

.        I got to graduate college (they are still wondering how)

.        I own a home (in fact I own 2 and if you want to buy either let me know)

.        I’ve been able to baptize over 200 people

.        I’ve been on stage in front of over 50,000 people in my lifetime

.        I own a Mac

.        I started a company

.        I drive a convertible Bug that’s bright green

.        I got to do some chapels for the Dallas Cowboys

.        I’ve sat on the floor at an NBA game

.        I’ve been to the Final Four

.        I’ve jump off a cliff that’s over 25 feet high into a body of water

.        I’ve got my name on a book

.        I helped create a curriculum for kids

.        I have people who will actually read this

.        I get to lead some of the best leaders in Cincinnati in Bible Study

.        I’ve lived in KY, DFW, Cincy, and moving to the ATL

.        I’ve driven over 140 mph on the highway and I’m still here

.        I get to dream big dreams and believe they can come true

.        I’ve only missed a meal because I wanted to (there haven’t been many)

.        I’ve only broken one bone in my life

.        I got to work for a church that averaged over 20,000 people a weekend

.        I got to work at a church where I got to design a children and youth space

.        I have money in the bank (I didn’t say a lot but some)

.        I’ve had more opportunities to do good than bad

.        I made it past 30 years of age

.        I sang in a band in college

.        I’m forgiven by a God who loves me more than my mistakes

So yes I’m very blessed.
