Tablets are coming. Tablets are coming!

You know the iPad by now. It is the standard, the first, the maverick, and maybe the one device that needs an upgrade really fast. Why?
Look at this device:
It’s the Samsung Galaxy tablet. It’s 7″ and is coming in November to Verizon and Sprint for sure and AT&T and T-Mobile more than likely. It’s running Android instead of the iOS. It looks good. It looks a lot like an iPad but smaller. It has more features, an app store, and a maybe even a faster processor.
It’s not the only one coming though. There are tons of tablets planned to come out in 2011. HP, BlackBerry, and others will launch their tablets to the world with a different app store for each. This will change how we use computers and will change how people interact with information. This will change how the internet looks.
As leaders we must be willing to adapt. You might as well get use to the word app. It is not going away. It will only increase in volume for the next 3-5 years. It doesn’t matter if you run a small business or a ministry it is now time to start your mobile strategy.
How are you adapting to this change? How is your organization adapting to this change?

Beautiful. I wish I could get one of these. Sigh. Maybe in a few years, when they are on clearance!
