Hello and welcome to the new MattMcKee.me. First let me start by saying thank you for stopping by and I hope you find yourself not just reading but interacting. Without you, this site wouldn’t be here.
What’s new?
- Design: How do you like it? The guys over at http://premiumpixels.com came up with the theme. My friend and business partner Chris Lema is to thank for all of the other goodness.
- Direction: There will be as much content on this site from other people than there will be from me. This site is not about me but simply aggregated by me. Yes I will be writing articles here but more importantly I will be highlighting the best articles from around the web. Who would read this site? Those who are interested in making a difference in the next generation by leveraging Technology, Ministry, Leadership, and Communication.
- Ads: I’ve been blogging since 2002 in some form or fashion and I’ve never had ads on my site. Why start now? I’ve come to realize that there are products, services, and even people who I think you should be introduced to. There are companies who are making a difference in the next generation and I want to highlight them here.
- Speaking Notes: I’m speaking more and more about technology, ministry, leadership, and communication. The one thing I get asked more than any is where people can find the notes of my talks. These will be posted under Communication in their own category simply called “Speaking Notes”. If you need anyone to inspire, encourage, or maybe make you laugh a little then fill out the Contact Me form to get me to speak at your next conference, executive meeting, or prayer breakfast.
- Subscribe via Email: Don’t know what RSS is or even care? Then sign up to get the articles from this site in your email. It is simple. Just click on Email in the upper right hand corner of the site.
What’s coming back?
- Video Posts: It’s been way too long since my sons and I have done any 2 Minute Tuesdays or I have done any interviews with some of the cool people I get to hang out with. These will be coming back.
- Focus: There will be at least 3 posts a week but there could be up to 10. Again this isn’t about me but about information that I find that is helpful when talking about making a difference in the next generation.
- Interaction: Questions are more than welcome. Comments, thoughts, and opinions are wanted. I will publish comments and such that do not agree with my opinion but I will not publish things that are attacks or that are simply negative. Let the interaction begin.
- Giveaways: I will give something away every week. Even if it is just a ROAR t-shirt or who knows, it may even be a ROAR app. If you have something you want me to give away then let me know.
What would you like to see? Since this isn’t about me but more about what I find, what do you want me to look for? What would be helpful to you?

Nice design! Like the direction of content, I’m working on something like that as well.

I like the new layout. I was thinking 432 times better than before, but I see it’s actually a million. I guess I need to dust off my math skills. I’m looking forward to seeing what you some up with. I’m glad to hear that you’ll be sharing more as I know you have a lot to offer. Keep up the great work!
