Tuesday Giveaway: 5 subscriptions to K! Magazine

A big announcement from K! Magazine is being made today. I talked with Ryan Frank last week and he gave me a little heads up and the ability to give away 5 subscriptions to the magazine that he runs. So what is the big announcement? K! Magazine is going mobile. That’s right, whenever you subscribe to K! you can not only get the print edition but you can also get the mobile version so that you have it with you where ever you go.

K! decided to use zmag.com as their mobile solution which takes magazines and turns them into a mobile web version. This is a great first step for any publisher looking to take their content and make it mobile friendly. I still look forward to the native apps coming but this is still a great announcement that makes me very happy.

This is HUGE!! Now I can read my Online K on the go – Starbucks, stoplights, standing in the Customer Service line at Wal Mart , I’ll save the really long articles for that one. Manhattan Hot Dog stands, Halftime at the LSU football games, boring meetings – the possibilities are endless! hmmm, I don’t usually take my iPad to the bathroom, but hey, a new habit only takes 30 days.

Maybe we could do a survey/list of: “Top 10 Places to Read your Online K”

Great job K mag Team!! What’s next? How about a “fair and balanced” cable news show? Why not just have our own channel? – The K Network? Oprah did it?? Think Big people!
